    1. Cookies and similar technologies

This Cookie Policy explains how TrueNorth uses cookies, local storage and similar browser technologies on truenorthroadside.ca. Some technologies are necessary for site operation or to remember your privacy choice; optional analytics technologies are used only with your permission.

    2. Necessary storage

Necessary storage supports functions that do not require optional tracking. Our cookie-consent system stores your choice in your browser under the local-storage key truenorth-cookie-consent-v1. This record includes the consent version, whether optional analytics is allowed, and the date of your choice.

Necessary preference storage remains active even when you reject optional analytics because the site needs to remember that rejection.

    3. Optional analytics

If you select “Accept all” or enable Analytics in “Manage preferences,” the website loads Google Analytics using measurement ID G-F7BF6T5L2M. Google Analytics may set identifiers such as _ga and _ga_* to measure visits, sessions and site usage.

Analytics is not loaded before you opt in through the TrueNorth cookie banner. If you reject optional analytics, core website content and service-request links remain available.

    4. Advertising and marketing cookies

TrueNorth does not currently enable advertising or behavioural-marketing cookies through this site-wide consent manager. If that changes, we will update this policy and request any consent required before those technologies are enabled.

    5. Manage or withdraw your choice

You can reopen the cookie preference centre at any time and change whether Analytics is allowed. Your new choice applies to future analytics activity on this browser.

    6. Browser controls

You can also delete cookies or site storage using your browser settings. Deleting the TrueNorth consent record will cause the consent banner to appear again so you can make a new choice. Blocking all browser storage may affect preference persistence or other website functionality.

    7. Third-party providers

When optional Google Analytics is enabled, information may be processed by Google according to Google's own privacy and data-processing practices. Other external services that you choose to open from our website may independently use cookies under their own policies.

    8. Changes and contact

We may update this Cookie Policy if our website technologies or consent practices change. The “Last updated” date identifies the current version.
