Roadside Flat Tire Change Service
A flat tire on a busy road is stressful and unsafe. Our technicians arrive with the right tools to fit your spare so you can continue your trip.
When You Need Tire Change
Tire Change is the right call in the situations below. If you are not sure, call dispatch and describe what the vehicle is doing — we will tell you which service fits.
- You have a flat or blown tire and a usable spare in the vehicle
- A slow leak has left a tire too soft to drive on safely
- You cannot loosen the wheel nuts or the wheel is seized to the hub
- You are stopped somewhere unsafe to change a wheel yourself
- Bad weather makes a roadside change unsafe without proper equipment
What Is Included With Tire Change

We set up a safe work area, lift the vehicle correctly and torque the wheel so your spare is fitted properly. Compact and full-size spares are both handled.
If your vehicle has no usable spare, or if the wheel or suspension is damaged, we can transport your vehicle by flatbed to a tire shop or garage instead.
- Travel to your location and safe work-zone setup
- Removal of the damaged wheel using correct jacking points
- Installation of your spare with a calibrated torque wrench
- Pressure check on the fitted spare
- Placement of the damaged wheel in your vehicle
Roadside Tire Change And Spare Installation
A flat tire on the 401 or a downtown side street is not the place to be kneeling beside traffic. Our technicians carry proper jacks, torque tools and wheel chocks, and they set up a safe work zone before touching your vehicle.
We install your spare — full size, compact or space saver — torque the wheel to specification and check the pressure so you can drive to a tire shop with confidence.
- Safe work zone set up with cones and hazard lighting
- Proper jacking points used to protect the frame and sills
- Spare installed and torqued to manufacturer specification
- Tire pressure checked before you drive away
- Flatbed towing available when there is no usable spare
What We Need From You
- Confirmation you have a spare on board
- Location of the wheel lock key, if fitted
- Your exact location and nearest cross street
- Vehicle make, model and year
- Whether the vehicle is in a live traffic lane

Call Dispatch or Request Through the App
There are two ways to get tire change from TrueNorth Roadside Rescue. You can call dispatch directly at (647) 633-8885 and speak with a real person, 24 hours a day. Or you can request service through the TrueNorth web and mobile app for a faster, fully digital request flow.
In the app, you enter your exact service type, pickup location, vehicle details, destination when required, and contact information. The app calculates your estimate from preset service pricing, distance in kilometres, included distance, add-ons, and applicable tax — before anything is dispatched.
Once a driver is assigned, the app shows live service tracking with driver status, ETA, service progress, and completion status. It is a clearer and more transparent experience than a normal phone-only towing request — and you can still call dispatch anytime if you prefer speaking with a person.
Faster Request Flow
Submit the service type, location, vehicle details, and contact information without waiting on the phone.
Live Driver Tracking
Once a driver accepts the job, follow the driver and service status in real time.
Transparent App Estimate
Pricing is calculated from preset service rates, distance, add-ons, and tax before dispatch.
Better Service Updates
See when your request is submitted, accepted, on the way, arrived, completed, or closed.
Call Anytime
You can still call dispatch directly for urgent support, questions, or special situations.
Tire Change Pricing and Quotes
Tire change is quoted in CAD before dispatch and covers travel plus fitting your spare. We do not sell or fit new tires roadside; if there is no usable spare we quote towing to a tire shop instead.
For a full breakdown of how towing and roadside jobs are quoted, see our towing and roadside assistance pricing page.
Staying Safe While You Wait
- Pull as far off the travelled lane as you safely can before stopping
- Exit through the passenger side when you are beside moving traffic
- Wait behind a barrier or well off the shoulder, not inside the vehicle on a highway
- Compact spares are speed and distance limited — replace them promptly
If Extra Help Is Needed
If the spare is missing, flat or the wheel or hub is damaged, we switch to flatbed towing and transport the vehicle to a tire shop or your preferred garage. You are re-quoted before the tow starts.
