When You Need Motorcycle Transport

Motorcycle Transport is the right call in the situations below. If you are not sure, call dispatch and describe what the vehicle is doing — we will tell you which service fits.

  • Your motorcycle will not start or has a mechanical failure
  • You have had a drop or a collision and the bike is not rideable
  • A seasonal storage move needs the bike transported
  • You bought a bike and need it delivered across the GTA
  • Weather or road conditions make riding unsafe

What Is Included With Motorcycle Transport

Motorcycle secured upright in a wheel chock with soft straps on a flatbed tow truck in Toronto
A wheel chock plus soft straps at factory tie-down points keeps the bike upright without stressing the forks.

Motorcycles need specialized handling during transport. We never use wheel-lift towing that can damage your bike. Instead, we load your motorcycle onto a flatbed using a ramp, then secure it with soft straps, wheel chocks and proper tie-down points. Your bike stays upright and stable for the entire trip.

We transport sport bikes, cruisers, touring motorcycles, scooters and mopeds, trikes, adventure bikes and standard motorcycles. Non-running and accident-damaged bikes can be moved subject to loading and securement requirements.

  • Ramp loading onto a flatbed — no wheel-lift towing
  • Wheel chock to hold the bike upright
  • Soft straps at manufacturer tie-down points
  • Transport to your shop, home or storage location
  • Careful unloading with the same equipment

How Motorcycle Transport Works in Toronto and the GTA

  1. Send bike details

Tell dispatch the make, model and whether the bike rolls and steers.

  2. Get your quote and ETA

The CAD quote and arrival window are confirmed before an operator is assigned.

  3. Ramp loading

The operator walks or winches the bike up a ramp onto the flatbed and sets it into a wheel chock.

  4. Strap and deliver

Soft straps secure the bike upright for the trip, and we unload it the same way at the destination.

Call Dispatch or Request Through the App

There are two ways to get motorcycle transport from TrueNorth Roadside Rescue. You can call dispatch directly at (647) 633-8885 and speak with a real person, 24 hours a day. Or you can request service through the TrueNorth web and mobile app for a faster, fully digital request flow.

In the app, you enter your exact service type, pickup location, vehicle details, destination when required, and contact information. The app calculates your estimate from preset service pricing, distance in kilometres, included distance, add-ons, and applicable tax — before anything is dispatched.

Once a driver is assigned, the app shows live service tracking with driver status, ETA, service progress, and completion status. It is a clearer and more transparent experience than a normal phone-only towing request — and you can still call dispatch anytime if you prefer speaking with a person.

Faster Request Flow

Submit the service type, location, vehicle details, and contact information without waiting on the phone.

Live Driver Tracking

Once a driver accepts the job, follow the driver and service status in real time.

Transparent App Estimate

Pricing is calculated from preset service rates, distance, add-ons, and tax before dispatch.

Better Service Updates

See when your request is submitted, accepted, on the way, arrived, completed, or closed.

Call Anytime

You can still call dispatch directly for urgent support, questions, or special situations.

Motorcycle Transport Pricing and Quotes

Motorcycle transport is quoted in CAD before dispatch, based on pickup, destination and whether the bike rolls. Scheduled transport can be quoted and booked in advance.

For a full breakdown of how towing and roadside jobs are quoted, see our towing and roadside assistance pricing page.

Staying Safe While You Wait

  • Tell dispatch if the front wheel or forks are damaged and cannot roll
  • Remove soft luggage and loose accessories before loading
  • Leave the bike in neutral with the steering unlocked if possible
  • Do not attempt to ride a bike with suspected frame damage

If Extra Help Is Needed

If the bike cannot roll at all, our operators use a winch and skate rather than dragging it. Where the frame is badly damaged, we load it on its side supports with padding to prevent further harm.
